Statewide Disability Advisory Council (SDAC) that serves the State of California.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What is a DAC?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-745d62d e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"745d62d\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-490c312 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"490c312\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>DAC stands for \u201cDisability Advisory Committee.\u201d The Cal Expo DAC advises management on Department policies and activities affecting persons with disabilities, raises disability awareness through education and training, and assists the Department in complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act and related statutes.<\/p><p>Members of the DAC include employees with and without disabilities that share a passion for the issues facing people with disabilities.<\/p><p>The next DAC meeting with take place November 20, 2025 at 2:30pm in the Administration Boardroom.<\/p><p>October is National Disability Awareness Month to raise awareness and provide education to our staff.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
